Admittedly, this guy's death probably matters a hell of a lot more than that of our gin-soaked Queen Mother. And more even than that doe-eyed, simpering bint, Diana. But I still don't see the point of wall-to-wall news reports on how he's still dead, and what a stand-up guy he was. I mean, people keep banging on about how how was the author of the demise of Communism in eastern Europe. Yeah, whatever. When Lech Walesa dies will there be the same coverage? I doubt it.

Just remember, weeping TV news man, that while he may have had some tenuous link with the progression of democracy in Poland, he was also dead set against birth control, sexual equality and coke-snorting libertine funbois like you.
