Where's My Bloody iBook?

Mmm, iBook.

My heart sank when I found that Apple were entrusting the only new computer I've bought in a decade to K&N. They, after all, are the shipping company that left my most important belongings, including my beloved SGI Challenge S, languishing on a dockside in Helsinki for two weeks.

My heart sank further when I found K&N's tracking page today and learned that my iBook had been dispatched two days ago, but has yet to leave Shanghai.

Shanghai? Just like this guy.

I should have driven down to PC World.

At least I won't waste any more of today gazing expectantly at my office door, waiting for someone to come and tell me that a guy from TNT is here with my package.

[It seems that, while this post was being written, my iBook was actually clearing customs in Luxembourg. It's just that there's a 24 hour delay in the package tracking system. I'd bitch about that, but suddenly my new toy is several thousand miles closer.]
