Safari 2.0.1

BEEP!

Safari 2.0.1 needs a way of telling me that it's finished finding instances of my search term and looped round to the beginning of the document, other than moving the bloody scroll bar. If it already has one, it needs to be more obvious, because I haven't spotted it.

While we're at it, I can think if better ways to tell me that it can't find a match than "beep."

The search functionality in Firefox seems to be pretty good, but I'm loathe to switch away from Mac OS' default browser, as a point of principle. This despite the fact that I'll happily ditch IE and OE in favour of Firefox and Thunderbird. I guess that Mac OS X is still the least-sucky desktop OS I've used.

I still think they might want to consider getting off their laurels, stop tickling their erogenous zones with the cosmetics of iTunes and Mail and actually fix some goddamned bugs, though.
