Quickly, for the love of Mike, someone please ask me a question!

I have this habit, and I lament it, if not frequently, then at least very predictably.

Every time I start looking for work, I can't help but apply only for jobs that I really, really want. Without fail, the first thought that goes through my mind when the phone rings is "Interview? Why the hell did I make this my first interview?"

This time, as last time, I'm rusty. I haven't interviewed in a couple of years. Performance anxiety!

What I need to do now is cue up a couple of throw-away interviews between now and then and get all my fumbling stupidities out of the way.

The missus suggests that MacDonald's are probably hiring.
